Our commitment
Talent is everywhere in Nigeria. Access to training is not. Sand-Vine commits studio time, tools and teaching to students who would otherwise never get a seat — free, and without conditions.
Every term we open seats at no cost to students of Nigerian universities and polytechnics. No tuition, no hidden fees, no catch — only the commitment to show up and do the work.
Geometry, grids, negative space and the shape-driven composition our own studio practises — the visual language behind identities that still read well ten years on.
How to direct AI tools rather than be replaced by them — prompting, iteration, asset pipelines and the judgement to know when the machine is wrong.
The syllabus
Six sessions, taught by the people who do this work for clients every week.
How it works
From a campus request to a student with a portfolio — this is the route we take together.
Step one
A department, a student society or a lecturer writes to us. We agree dates, a room or a link, and how many seats we can hold.
Step two
Open to any enrolled student, no design background required. We ask only why they want to learn, and we read every answer.
Step three
Our own designers teach the syllabus above, on campus or online, with a real brief running through it so nobody leaves with only theory.
Step four
Every student finishes a portfolio piece and gets a certificate. The strongest are invited into our Design Academy at no cost, and some join us on live client work.
